Vehicles Entering Jakarta via Jl. Daan Mogot Decreased by 40 Percent

Since Emergency PPKM was implemented from Saturday (7/3) until Friday (7/16), vehicles entering Jakarta via Jl. Daan Mogot has decreased by 40 percent.

Survey was conducted every day by counting number of vehicles that pass every minute

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Operation Section Head, Muhammad Wildan Anwar conveyed, entering the 14th day of Emergency PPKM implementation, traffic flow on Jl. Daan Mogot checkpoint in the morning and late afternoon decreased by 40 percent.

"Survey result carried out by West Jakarta and Police in a week after Emergency PPKM was implemented, traffic flow on vehicle decreased by 20 percent. On Friday (7/16) afternoon, its percentage was decreased into 40 percent," he informed, Saturday (7/17).

According to him, survey was conducted every day by counting number of vehicles that pass every minute.

With decrease in number of vehicles entering Jakarta via Jl. Daan Mogot checkpoint, his side expected people to understand the situation and comply with Emergency PPKM regulation.

"Our conclusion is, residents now understand about Emergency PPKM regulation. Although at the beginning of Emergency PPKM, there were many vehicles in long lines and officers had to be extra patient to ask drivers to turn back," he mentioned.
